Authors are welcome to use the IMC2020 banner for their poster- /oral presentation.
All presentations have to be in english language. The following author guidelines apply for:
1) Oral presentations
Oral presentations will be 20-minutes. Please prepare your presentation according to this schedule to ensure smooth functioning of the program. Session chairs will be asked to strictly implement the time limits.
Presentation slides are accepted only in Powerpoint (.ppt or .pptx) or PDF formats. A 16:9 screen ratio is preferred. Note that embedded videos or complex animations are sometimes not properly displayed on different devices/operating systems. Keep your presentation as simple as possible to avoid any inconveniences and recheck the proper functioning of your presentation at the registration desk.
All presenters are required to bring their presentation to the registration desk on a USB drive one day prior to their allocated time slot (Authors presenting on Thursday, Feb. 11th - please bring your presentation as early as possible to the registration desk!). Mounting of USB drives directly onto the presentation laptops is not possible. All computers at IMC use Windows operating systems.
Please name your file according to the following scheme: “LASTNAME_abstract IMC2.pptx"
Session rooms will be equipped with a projector, laptop, microphone and laser pointer. Technical assistance will be provided by IMC staff. Personal laptops or other devices may not be used for the presentation.
2) Poster presentations
Posters for IMC2 should be prepared in landscape layout with maximum size as 100cm wide x 80cm tall. Make sure to include the following information on the poster:
• Authors - indicate presenting author with an asterisk
The exact location of the posters will be available at the registration desk and on the website. Mounting tools for posters (pins, adhesive tape, etc.) as well as technical assistance will be available at the registration desk. All posters should be put up upon arrival at the venue and remain mounted until the conclusion of the conference. The poster session will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 12th in the afternoon.
